The Town of Buxton is seeking applications for the position of Transfer Station / Recycling Center attendant. Candidates for this position should possess strong customer service skills with the ability to work as a team with co-workers and the public. This position requires the ability to lift 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions unloading recyclables and bulky wastes. This position also requires the ability to operate or learn to operate a skid-steer forklift, backhoe, and baling equipment.

This is a 40 hr per week position working Tuesday through Saturday. Starting wage is $12.00 per hour. Benefit package includes 12 paid holidays, 457(b) pension plan, medical, life, and disability.
